Siobhan has worked with families and their adolescent children for over 30 years, providing individual and family counselling. Siobhan has also provided court ordered custody and access assessments for families who are experiencing high conflict separation and divorce.
Siobhan has both a Bachelor of Social Work and a Masters Degree in Social Work as well as a broad range of post graduate training. Siobhan is a Registered Social Worker and is a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals.
Siobhan's particular areas of expertise are: Eating Disorders, Anxiety , Depression, Parent-teen conflict, Family conflict, Parenting challenges and Separation and Divorce. Her practice involves supporting individuals and families to work through their challenges , assisting them to develop their capacity to reflect upon and learn to resolve life's challenges. Siobhan employs a range of modalities that include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Psycho- therapy .

Patty has had the privilege of journeying for over 20 years with individuals and families from a diverse range of ages, religions, cultures, ethnicities, sexual orientations and gender identities. She has worked in the U.S. and Canada in a variety of settings including: schools; inpatient and outpatient psychiatric programs; lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community centers; religious communities; and community mental health programs, particularly those focused on serving adolescents and their families.
In addition to extensive post-degree training, she holds a Bachelors of Music in Music Therapy, a Master of Divinity Degree with in emphasis in Pastoral Counselling, and a Master of Social Work Degree. She is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) in Ontario and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC).
Patty works with clients to tailor an approach using a variety of therapeutic modalities including but not limited to Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy informed practices.

I work well with clients 18 and over. Being motivated to change is certainly a plus but not a prerequisite as I do appreciate that change can be very difficult. Note: my practice is completely virtual
I work with various types of struggles people regularly face - mood disorders, low self-esteem, anxiety, relationship difficulties, academic and work place challenges. My scope of practice isn't limited to these issues - I just find that these are the most common things people face.
